Join us for a birding walk with Bird Nerd Annie Aguirre! We will meet at the Pumpkinvine Trail parking lot at County Road 43 and walk along the trail, listening, looking, and identifying birds together. Whether you're a new or experienced birder, this will be an opportunity to learn new birds and meet others who are interested in birding! Wear good walking shoes, come prepared to be outdoors, and if you have them, BYOB: bring your own binoculars!

More about our birding guide, Annie:
A life-long naturalist, Annie Aguirre has always been naturally curious. After migrating from the west coast post-college to be with family, she quickly gained a passion for birds after meeting a group of birders who took her “under their wing.” Today, Annie is actively involved with the birding community, leading bird tours and workshops with Indiana Audubon Society throughout the state and beyond. When she’s not outside birding, Annie offers bird workshops, designs publications, coordinates events, and collaborates with fellow naturalists for the Elkhart County Parks, where she works as the Marketing Coordinator.
